May 2023 - Ongoing

Copado is the DevOps platform built for Salesforce. Not for small teams experimenting with automation, for the companies that can't afford to get it wrong. Coca-Cola. T-Mobile. Toyota. Cisco. SAP. Volkswagen. 1,500 enterprise customers running mission-critical operations on one platform. At a $1.9B valuation, every part of the business has to perform at that level.
Including the website.
That's where we came in.
The Challenge
Rapid growth is a good problem to have. Until your website can't keep up with it.
Copado had scaled fast, faster than their web presence could handle. Pages were being built ad hoc, one at a time, with no shared system holding things together. No consistent components. No reusable structure. Just a growing library of one-off pages that each looked slightly different from the last.
The result? Marketing and engineering stuck in a constant bottleneck. Every new page request took roughly a week to go live. QA cycles were heavy. Rework was common. And the design language, the thing that's supposed to make a $1.9B company look like a $1.9B company, was quietly drifting.
For a platform trusted by Fortune 500s to run their most complex operations, an inconsistent, slow-moving website isn't just frustrating. It's a credibility problem.
The Solution
We redesigned the website and built the system behind it at the same time.
That's not how most design projects work. But it's the only approach that made sense here. Designing pages in isolation would have just recreated the same problem with a fresh coat of paint. Instead, every design decision we made went straight into a Figma design system, color tokens, typography scales, spacing, buttons, patterns, so that the redesign and the foundation were built together, informing each other the whole way through.
Every page got touched. Every inconsistency got resolved. By the time we were done, the entire site spoke the same visual language, not because we forced it to, but because everything was being pulled from the same source of truth from day one.
The handoff to their dev team was clean. No ambiguity, no loose ends, no decisions left to interpretation. And when their marketers needed to spin up something new, they weren't starting from scratch , they were working from a system that made consistency the default, with or without a designer in the room.
That was the real unlock. Not just a better-looking website, but a website with infrastructure behind it. One that could grow without breaking.
The Results
The system worked. Immediately.
- Request → live page dropped from ~1 week to ~2 days
- 60+ pages launched in under a month
- ~80% fewer QA requests
- ~80% faster site performance
- Marketing team fully self-serve from day one
Copado went from a website that was slowing them down to one that moves at the pace their business demands. Clean. Consistent. Built to last.
Scalable systems compound. That's not just something we say, it's why Copado is still with us 3+ years later.
